Terms, Conditions and Privacy Policy

We want you to have fun learning from each other and experts. We also want to use data to help:

  • engineers secure valuable work (e.g. with LA’s, Housing Associations etc)
  • help LA’s find competent people for their frameworks and Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS)
  • help engineers discover and maybe team up to form partnerships/companies with other conscientious engineers passionate about continuous learning. This could benefit scaling up the decarbonisation of heating and retrofit
  • Help employers find better people for job roles such as sustainability managers by providing evidence of a commitment to life long learning

The T&C and Privacy Policy are below but here are some of the points they cover in simple to understand language:

  • People can be removed from the platform with no question and no reimbursement if they act in what is considered an inappropriate manner
  • You are not to screen-shot/copy any comments, images or videos from the platform. And you should not share content/comments/videos onto other platforms such as Twitter and WhatsApp
  • Data will be collected and may be shared. E.g. We know that Local Authorities, Housing Associations etc struggle to know who is competent. As an example, imagine a LA needs heating engineers/designers/co-ordinators/architects etc to work on transitioning a large housing estate to a heat network incorporating solar thermal. They may want to know who are not only qualified and accredited in the above professions but who can evidence they are constantly engaged in the various and numerous topics around heat networks and solar thermal. Data could also be useful to employers interested in understanding how committed to learning a prospective employee is e.g. for a roles such as sustainability manager
